Our youth classes are led by our Associate Pastor for Family Ministry, Jeff Luxon, and are offered to youth ages 12 through 18. Recognizing the significant differences in maturity between these ages, our Sunday morning classes focus primarily on communicating the teachings of the Bible with discussions that are relevant, but limited to those subjects which are appropriate for our younger youth. We are currently planning toward providing more opportunities for more age-appropriate, relevant and specific discussions for our younger and older youth separately through the week as their availability allows. Our on-campus efforts to reach, engage, and minister to the youth of Diamond Hill and our larger community are ongoing and we encourage and invite you to join us for Sunday School as we work through that ministry to provide a solid Biblical foundation upon which our ministry to our young people can grow in its effectiveness. Along with these on-campus efforts to minister to our young people are numerous off-campus opportunities, including the Cross Roads Ministry’s summer camp, various opportunities to minister to others in local hospitals and nursing facilities and opportunities to be involved in local Missions projects. We also provide several seasonal outings through which our young people are encouraged to grow in their relationship with the Lord and Christian fellowship with one another.
